Why doesn't the star of david repel the nosferatu?

It does in Vampire: The Masquerade if the person have an True Faith.
but that was an amended lore with a fairly new ability, correct?
ahh yes. i think Grünfeld Bach had this in the game.
Yea Grünfeld Bach had True Faith in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. :)

alright alright. it still just explains that religious totems can instill true faith. i have yet to see it used on a vampire. even in the tv show 'being human'. the star doesn't affect the vampire. it does other things. here's a weak AI explanation because in the show it does affect all vampires.
Mitchell, a vampire character, is not harmed or negatively impacted by the Star of David symbol worn by his friend George, who is Jewish; essentially, Mitchell is not prejudiced against Jewish people and the religious symbol has no power over him as a vampire.
The six pointed star is Nosferatu's emblem. The symbol of evil.
that makes perfect sense!
