Once you deem a guy "immasculine", will he ever be considered relationship material?

If a nice guy shows a soft side and lets you walk all over him with insults that degrade his manhood, have you lost all respect for him? Is he unable to be the dominant male figure you desire?

I found that girls are more willing to submit to authority. It seems that once a guy loses that authority over a girl, it's all downhill and she will seek another partner (who she sees as more masculine).

Well some guys have certain times or qualities that are more on the non-masculine side, but that does necessarily mean the aren't relationship material for me. If I totally deemed a man "immasculine",as you say, it would be because he is acts very effeminate, like a flamboiant gay man. Obviously if he were like that I personally wouldn't be with him, but he probably wouldn't want me either.

A man should have the ability to show his softer side & know when it's appropriate to do so. Doing so won't degrade him--it actually does the opposite. A good woman who also personally believes in women being submissive in marriage for religious or cultural reasons will only love & respect him more for knowing when to be soft & when to be firm.

yeah I lost all respect for him. I don't want a pushover that lets people just disrespect him and treat him like crap. its not even about being nice, that's just a doormat..he wouldn't be relationship material to me

still stays the same. he shouldn't let anyone walk all over him. if a guy lets me walk all over him then I'd assume he's that way with others too. he shouldn't let a girl emasculate him and disrespect him like that. a girl who does that doesn't respect him anyway

I feel bad for a guy who let's people walk all over him, and it's not an attractive trait, but I wouldn't lose respect for him.
