How Did You Tell Your Husband You Were Pregnant?

Me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for a few months now. And as of last week, I'm Pregnant! I have my first prenatal doc appt Today! When I found out I was super excited and grabbed my phone to tell him, but I thought that was lame. So I went to the store and bought a little baby doll. I make his lunches for him, so I put the doll in his lunch box with the positive pregnancy test. He called me over joyed later that day. He came home early too!

So we are both super excited and I want to know how you told your husband about the big news.

Update two... My husband reminded me it's September now, and I tested the first week of July, But it's only the second day of September, and my brain has been broken ever since I got the news. so cut me some slack XD

When my wife told me the only thing missing was a child, we consciously went for it. She got pregnant the second month. She wasn't sure, so we bought a test in a pharmacy, she did the test and we both waited for the result to come up.

You should make sure that your husband is there when you make visits to the doctor and get to hear the heartbeat in a couple of months.

And also make sure he will be there the day you give birth. The doctor who assisted her gave me scissors to cut the umbilical cord just after birth. That's something you never forget and a small contribution as a man.

2 times we took the test together, 3 times I told him over text and last 2 times I gave him a little present to open and it was the positive test
