Why do some women feel the need to put men through these moronic relationship tests?

The following video shows "the dadvocate" going through a few of these that were popularized by tiktok.. She is just as baffled as i am when it comes to that. One is the Orange peel test, and the ketchup test. both of which are apparently intended to test his obedience and his competence, both of which suggest women should break up with men that fail these tests.

If you're a woman who feels the need to do these idiotic, childish, manipulative tests that the internet says you need to use to test your men, you deserve to be alone.

I don't think it was a test to begin with, but when women realized that their husband should treat her a special type of way , it became a test.

I say, if you're testing your significant other, something's already off in the relationship.
Men do it too, it's not just women.

However, you might see more female videos because women like to show off their man more. If their man fails, the woman still get attention from both genders.

I didn't look at the video, but I know the orange test.
It really depends on the relationship.
The orange test could of been the last straw.
I think the orange test is so easy, but covers so much of your lovers mindset.
I don't think a lot of people understand the differences between friend, husband/wife, and parent.
Your husband can be your best friend, but your best friend doesn't have to be your husband.

You can love both of them like crazy, but you made a promise and life long commitment to cherish your husband/wife.
If i asked you one day , can you peel this orange for me and you say no, do it yourself, I'd be a little upset.
You don't feel like helping your lover out? The situation already infers that she couldn't do it herself, that's why she's asking. Some guys ask why and he still doesn't do it. Some women ask why he doesn't do it and most responses aren't adequate.
The problem is, you can replace the orange with anything.
It's cool to say I would of helped, if it was something more important, but you don't get to decide what's more important to your partner. You don't get to decide when they feel like they need help. You don't get to decide whether they feel like your trust worthy enough to handle those big situations. What people have to go off of is your history and the small interactions that add up day by day. Something as simple as an orange can brighten up a person's day if you give it to a guy asking for food on the street or ruin someone's day if you get orange juice on somebody's white top.

Is it messed up if a guy gets dropped after failing some viral tests? If it's early within the relationship, she might of already experienced trauma and protecting herself. If it's been a while in the relationship, this was a test. A clear test at a time when she knows he could pass. At a time, when she knows it's not her. He probably already did this with the laundry, the kids, the dishes, or the groceries. Just show her one last time that you can't help her when you have the ability to. Can you peel my orange for me please?

It's just too freaking long. And testing like what I'm talking, where the wife/girlfriend sees something online and thinks "gee I should do this to my husband" is beyond stupid. My wife, thank God is more mature than that. If she wasn't, if she felt the need to test me, we would never have married. If she started testing me right now, I'd divorce her.

I'm not saying the reasons are right or you had to stay with them afterward, but it covers the question of why.
However, I do want to point again that all of the videos seen online are attention based vids.

Let me look at the video because the only reason I say the orange test is a test is because you're harshly judging him for not helping you.

If it wasn't a test, I would still be upset, but i would get up and do it myself.

Ok, I just watched the video. Not only are some of the tests stupid, but unsafe, wasteful, and like she said, "just playing games"
Definitely attention based videos.
Out of all the tests, the orange test and the swirl test are the only ones that you can "use for discernment," but honestly, you don't need those.
Those situations are going to pop up organically. Just take note and move accordingly.

It looked like all of the vids were from tiktok, so if you hop on a trend, you get more money and engagement. Women like seeing this kind of content, so the algorithm pushes it to more people, and in turn, more people believe it and make more videos about it.

the reason i have always been against relationship testing stems back 20 years ago when i was still dating. I dated this girl who was very into that kind of thing. She essentially put me through a number of tests, until it finally pissed me off. So i ghosted on her. She later on called me and begged met to come back, and i told her that i was not into childish mind games and that when she grew up, perhaps she would find a good partner.. Last time i ever spoke to her.. Though later on her dad also begged me to come back, Until i told him what she did.

I think some women are just naturally more anxious and worried about picking the right man. I don’t think they mean to manipulate, they are just trying to figure out who you are and whether you like them enough before they go and sacrifice their life, career and body to have children with you. We don’t want to end up single mums or in a stupid predicament.

Mind you, men test too but for different things. I had guys mention wealthy family members or money and watch my face for a reaction for example…
