I met this girl little over a week ago and we have been texting sense. The thing is she doesn't respond very often could be hours before she responds. She told me straight up that she is interested in me but I was kinda expecting quicker responses at least. Am I just being paranoid? I know she works her butt off and works every day of the week. Should I let her go or give her time.

Honestly I’d move on. A person who is really interested will find time to message you no matter what. I remember being overseas waking up at 1 am loading possibly a couple hours of sleep knowing I had to be up at 4 am just to talk to a girl back in the states. Maybe she doesn’t want to appear desperate so she doesn’t respond right away. Which I’m not good w that. If you like me let me know. I may be wrong here but it’s also possible that you sound as though you’re texting her way too much that she knows she has you wrapped around her little finger. Don’t be one of those dudes who begs for her attention, begs her to stay when she wants to breakup. Don’t be that dude who’s constantly blowing up her phone, because by doing that she has all the leverage in this so-called relationship. Trust me I work 13 hour shifts, still manage to message my girl, still manage to give her plenty of attention. The balls in her court. It’s up to her what to do next whether she responds or not. Even so she’ll probably say well you just stopped texting, calling, etc. Sonitll fall on you regardless. But in my experience if a person is really into you they will make the time no matter what. How much time does it take to say hi, sorry it’s been crazy w everything going on. I’m not trying to blow you off. I’d love to hang out. Let me text you later this afternoon. Took me less then 30 seconds to text that.
You’ve just met this girl and already feel entitled to her time. It would be one thing if you’ve been talking to her for some time and noticed this as a pattern but it hasn’t even been 2 weeks since you’ve met her. Some people aren’t always on their phones or they prefer to have conversations in person as opposed to texting. Instead of judging someone you’ve just met, get to know them. Maybe plan a date or try to see her in person. However, if she’s responding in days or over 7+ hours then i’d consider letting her go, she’s just not that interested at that point.
Well, in your question, you stated that she works, So I would say that you should give it a little bit of time. That’s something that I would do because I understand that people get busy. Sometimes you don’t want to be on your phone as soon as you get off work you just want to relax. So that could be the reason why there’s a delay in her texts. Do you know what hours and days she works? That might help you figure it out.
