Why is my older best friend so clingy and competitive with me?

She is a lot older then me and we get along well. its just she texts me every day to talk about nosense and she texts me gm. whats to know what i do everyday. i have health issues and i have a lot of responsibilities. she's home all day and just texts me. and tried to ask to hangout a lot. i drive and she doesn't. I don't know what to think. she also sometimes likes to try to compete with me.

I'm in some extent a useful fool for my bestie because I know a lot of people since years of clubbing. Noting is for free. She is a little bit introvert and not really talented to make new acquaintances. I play a good friend a while but I know there is a dagger always behind my back, but I don't care. Love comes and goes, friends appear and disappear, nothing is for ever.
