I get mine bad and I get very moody but that doesn't mean everyone has to pay the price right...?
Does anyone agree, or do you think it is fair?

Trending & News there is a line that can't be crossed, if your a bit moody or feeling down then fine it happens as long as you don't insult or verbally abuse someone then its fine
but you need to suck it up and respect others no matter what the situation is
any girl that insults you or abuses you in some way with the excuse that she had her period its not okay and not forgivable depending on what she did, the way I see it if you have your period and have to go to work and put a smile on, be professional, greet your boss, your coworkers, your customers, then you should give that same respect to your loved ones and control your emotions. if you can do it for strangers at work then why not the people you love? I feel like some girls need to work on it and appreciate the people in their life.
i say this because this question reminded me of my ex best friend, she was a psycho bitch who did a lot of cruel things to me, was manipulative, cocky and ruined my social life behind my back. and I remember the last time we were actually friends, we were meeting up to go to my friends birthday party and she had her period she was the most rudest bitchiest person ever to me, psycho...she would snap at me and get back at me at things embarrass me at the party in front of guys and I avoided her for a week and she came back saying sorry I HAD MY PERIOD like f*** u, there's definitely hidden agenda behind your behavior towards me, especially because she put on a fake smile and was nice to the guys at the party and other people but to me its like I was her doormat and she can do as she please.
after that night and two weeks of contemplating, I ended the friendship with her, not because of her period of course but like I said, she was a frenemy to me for years that we were best friends, and her period excuse didn't help the situation either. I've been a happy champ since getting rid of her! =D she was a toxic cancerous tumor eating up my life.
I know exactly how you feel! I hate people like that, it has happened to me before with the same girl on and off for three years! Sinse you have ended the friendship has she tried to talk to you and be all nice? Because that's what she does to me! LOL And to use the period excuse? Wow, she's... wow.
Well I'm happy that everything is good for you now, because nobody needs people like her in their lives. Good luck with the future <3
yea she texted me a few times randomly once like asking about something another on Christmas and I was like who is this? (deleted her number) lol
yea I've learned a lot and I stand up for myself now, when people don't add to yourself remove them...some can make you a worse person and I'm a better person without her!
good luck with you too! =]
If the female avoids letting her emotions and thoughts get the best of her, people around her will have a more pleasant time and increase the chances of having a good time herself.
However it's more common that females would have difficulty being positive if there are too many triggers that sets her mood off and they will occasionally slip up being focused to not get upset.
Hormones are extremely powerful to a body, like when I was pregnant all I could do was cry whether something upset me or not. Until I had my baby. Bam I was not crying at all, in fact I only teared at most even if I got physically hurt.
Woman should still have a free pass that they're chemically driven, but should also try avoiding crossing the lines that they don't need to say or do to hurt someone else. Those actions typically don't make them happier anyways, they're going to be emotional even if they hurt someone else.
Luckily I rarely get angry on my period. My coworker kept frowning when it was her time of the month but she didn't even upset at anything, she didn't really realize it.
no I know its wrong to take it out on everyone else so I try to keep my cool and think rationally.
i know the reason for my annoying mood swings is my period so I try not to lash out at anyone.
but my period is horrible. I get these really bad cramps that extend to my legs and make my head hurt and make me throw up. its the worst time of the month for me. but even then, I try not to bitch at anyone.
Now see if you especially can hold your cool, there is NO excuse for any other girl not to. :)
I think there's a difference between FEELING bitchy and ACTING bitchy. You can be irritable all you want, we all have those days, but most of us don't dump it all over everyone and find some way to excuse our actions. "I have a headache," "I'm PMSing," etc. are ALL reasons to FEEL moody, but not to be mean. It's all about self-control.
no that is a terrible excuse... it also weakens the creditability of using periods as an excuse... my question link

Its fair to feel a bit hormonal moody, but it don't leak it to everyone else.
But when this happens 12 times a year, every year- there comes a time when you need to suck it up and deal. You know damn well when its coming on, be prepared. This is nothing new.
Clearly, not every female on the planet goes into a multi-day bitch fit once a month-- you don't need to either.
I don't think girls should use their period as an excuse to be a bitch, that is just way out of line. If someone is being nasty to you, be nasty back. But do not however, use "my aunt flow came to town" just to bitch at someone; it is wrong and very disrespectful.
LOL I don't talk on this because I'm a guy but like.. I'm sure people get agitated about many things that ail them but they don't always take it out on those around them.. I think self-control comes with maturity.
Well, I've known some girls who completely change when it's that time of the month. It's just the way it affects them. But ti's really not an excuse to be mean.
Yes ..I have been around many women and the hormones can be hell..men should give women a pass as they do not know what women go through.
i do get EXTREMELY irritable to where I want to rip someones head off while I'm on it.. I still act nice regardless though but if someone said something or did something out of line id snap quick
period or no period, I hate when girls start bitching at me for no reason.
so, no, not an excuse.
No I'm not a bitch. But I do kinda like having periods because it makes me feel like the woman I am ;P
Can you explain?
It's fine to use an excuse if it's valid but it's not to hard to discern the difference.
Absolutely not. There is never a reason to be nasty to anyone unless they are nasty to you. Even then it is best to take the "high" road.
