The difference between a stalker and a secret admirer is creepiness?

I've had no experience with this, or even have any friends that do. So I've only come at this from a theoretical perspective.

I've always maintained that the only difference between the two is level of creepiness, which is all in the perspective of the person being stalked/admired.

A secret admirer is secret, You think they may like you but unsure of the matter. They don't harass you or really bother you, But maybe talk and flirt a little bit. They might text or call from time to time, But you don't feel bothered by it. A stalker will constantly bother you, Show up where you're. Constantly getting calls,texts,emails or hiding and bushes!. Sometimes they will try to ruin your relationship.

a stalker is someone who violates boundaries, and is a physical threat or potential threat. a secret admirer is harmless and admires you from afar. what makes someone creepy is that the stalker takes it to a physical level like following u, spying and sh*t like that. its not just "your perspective", that's why there are crimes against stalking and harassment and not just secretly admiring someone and having a crush
