Why would a girl in a relationship lead a guy on all night but refuse to give him her #?

I met this girl at a club this weekend while I was pretty wasted and she seemed to be really into me. Like she kept flirting and touching me and laughing at everything I said. Since she was making so much touch contact with me I started getting kind of sexual while dancing with her and she didn't mind, then we walked over to another club down the road holding hands and I went in for a quick kiss and she was cool with that too. Then when I asked her for her # and she totally surprised me when she said no because she had a boyfriend. I was pretty drunk like I said so I called her a tease and kept trying to persuade her to give me her # lol. I said I would fight her boyfriend to win her over and she kept laughing at that and shaking her head. She wasn't even getting annoyed that I kept trying to convince her to give me her #. She actually seemed to love that I was trying so hard but I was really drunk and making her laugh like 24/7. But she never did give me her number.

So when we reached the other club I started talking to other girls and she didn't get mad but she kept looking over at me and then I went up to her and asked her if she was getting jealous and she said no of course but I could tell she was. The whole night kind of went like this with both of us flirting with the opposite sex trying to make each other jealous but we always came back to each other after. We didn't have sex because I didn't even want to try pushing my luck since she didn't give me her #.

But maybe she just wanted some anonymous sex lol I should have tried.

So why was she leading me on like this when she had a boyfriend?

Some girls will kiss guys just to get rid of them or because they don't care much about doing it... I know a few girls who would do it because they're worried about guys being aggressive and they find many of them are just persistent regardless. So they'll do that, and they'll use excuses so that they don't have to do more. My ex always gets hit on, on nights out and she always tells them she has a boyfriend although she's almost always single (by choice).

Nah trust me I'm like the most aggressive drunk ever. And her friends were with her at the first club but then they wanted to leave and she wanted to stay with me. So I doubt she was scared of me.

Trust me when I say some girls just go along with that... they would rather just go along with it. If she isn't like that and her reason is that she has a boyfriend, it's probably because she actually has a boyfriend and although she cheats she doesn't want to get caught because all of a sudden she's getting texts from random people and her boyfriend twigs on.

Just realized I said I'm the most aggressive, I meant least instead of most haha. I mean I get angry if a guy tries to start something but with girls I am just a complete flirt when I am drunk.

I'm the same, although i'm defensive... it's pretty funny at times. I'd met a girl at a bar and was talking to her most of the night and i'd asked for her number etc and it was going good, was about to ask if she'd like to meet up some other time. And a guy interrupts to talk to her. I didn't even give her time to answer, I said 'Fuck off...' he was like 'What?' I said, 'Fuck off, I know you don't know her and you're only here to hit on her' and explained why, he ended up crying outside.

Lol come on man he was trying to get a drink from the bartender :P... jk haha I had to say that joke but I know what you mean. Some guys are just total cockblocks. Like I was at this frat party once and this sorority girl sits down next to me and she tells me she's trying to make this frat boy jealous and asked me if I was in the frat that was throwing the party. Of course I lied and said yes. We start making out then one of her guy friends literally interrupts us making out.. rude shit.

People in relationships generally choose to be in them. If she really liked you she would have given you her number and she wouldve been on you all night. Not trying to make you jealous (Which is a tactic, but if she's in a relationship thats probably not what was happening).
