The staff at GaG strives to keep GirlsAskGuys a helpful and caring community for all.
One of the ways they do that is by ensuring all user posts have intelligible grammar, and don't use all caps or strange fonts.
When a user posts a question or mytake with one of these errors, the GaG staff will remove it (and remove xper points, so that the user will know to post more considerately next time).
But, imagine if GaG had an "edit" feature, which allowed users to edit the title or body of their own posts?
I'm sure you've encountered this issue before (many have been vocal about it):

"Oh no! I've just seen a significant typo in my question title—but I have already posted it!"
"Oh no! I guess you better correct it in an update."
"That is the only option. But a lot of people will still be confused when they see the title."
"That's unfortunate. I care about my fellow users, and don't want them to be confused. At least they will see the update—if they click on the question."
"Maybe. But I've noticed a lot of people do not look at the update before answering."
"That's a shame. I guess you will not be getting very helpful answers on this question either."
"I guess not."

If we users could edit our questions (instead of using the update feature for a purpose it can't serve well, because it wasn't designed for that), then we could fix confusing grammar errors whenever they slip out.
It would help the staff not have to do as much work, because the users could care for each other by correcting their own grammar mistakes.
It would help the users to get better answers to their questions, instead of having to sort through confused answers to find ones that read the update, or even not getting any answers (or getting the question removed) because the title was too difficult to understand.
