okay- Very good MyTake. Thank you for taking the time to explain it so even I can understand it.
I think I have only had one question hidden (maybe removed too) in the year I have been on this site and it was in the very beginning.
I appreciate the moderators and would imagine if they were not policing this site it would be a lot more chaotic.

G@G moderation is the most inconsistent thing I've ever seen
@cringe There is a lot of interpretation problems. For example, I don't touch politics because short of having to learn everything about an issue to determine who is being offensive (if at all) I would be taking guesses.
I focus on the for sure things like predator users that target the younger members. Things of that nature for the most part.

Yeah, thats the main issue. I know many moderators that remove things that aren't TOS. Theyre things that they simply disagree with, or they may just even dislike the user. (This happens to me a lot because people hate me.) Although, I do consider you to be one of the good ones.

Just a question, but how do uber moderators freeze like anonymous accounts if they don't know who they are? Do mods actually know who anonymous people are and just aren't saying anything about it?
Not being an Uber Mod myself, I'm not sure how it works. My guess is they freeze the anon account and it in turn freezes the user account and then reviewed by admin.
No, none of us can see who is behind anon posts or comments. Only admin can see that.

That gave me a laugh (in triplicate). You just report things like any of us do. If you are accurate and do a good job, GaG might send an invite. Mine came out of the blue really. I never expected it.

Quite interesting message. Its easy for people to blame their misbehavior on the moderation team. In the end people always want to use someone or something as a scapegoat.
Thanks for the reply. You are right that we get blamed from time to time when someone is upset. It isn't our intention to hassle users at all. We just do what GaG asks us. In the end, we don't make the end decision. Thanks for understanding that we are here to make things better, not worse.
What a load of rubbish. I’ve reported several posts for being anti Semitic and anti Israel and nothing gets done. I’ve had numerous insults. Nothing gets done. Posts that are offensive to people should be removed full stop.
This site might just as well not have moderators for what good they are.
Do the moderators all have a u on their profile photos?
No. Moderators will have a ‘m’ for moderator, ‘s’ for Super Moderator or ‘u’ for Uber Moderator.
Each can do different things.

Nope, because all the information I have shared is widely available on the site. It is in the FAQ and admin has even written a MyTake on becoming a Mod.
Also, this person didn't report everything. The reported list was not flooded with stuff. I would have seen it.
