I'm not offended. I found this very helpful. So little is done that sides with a guy's point of view. Women are complicated and they make themselves even more so. Guys are expected to simplify that even when the bar is set too high. No real guy will ever meet that standard. Thank you for posting this mytake.

Based on what I've seen, most people seem unfulfilled. Relationships are more casual and selfish.
You can never be sure about the other person's intentions.
I don't agree with that, especially not in my environment. But when you choose to have sex with another person, you conciously agree with having sex. So the intention is to have sex with person A. What other intention is there? To me sex is something that we can enjoy casually or within a romantic relationship. But the moment I decide on having sex.. that's my only intention at that moment. I don't abuse sex as a tool of power.
Relationships have actually not become more selfish. It's just that people and society have changed, especially women. Reason: we don't have to be stuck anymore with someone we don't really like. Back in the day women staid married because they had no other option. And there was nothing worse than being a divorced woman, besides being a prostitute. Since that has changed you see a lot of people not being in very long relationships anymore. And that's not bad. We're not designed to be with only one person. It goes against our promiscuous nature.
Other intentions: just wanting attention, money, keeping you around, getting over an ex. There are 1,000 reasons why someone has sex for ulterior motives.

Well luckily most men are pulling out of the marriage scene these days, i think financially supporting a women is pretty much prostitution. You gotta be careful of that common law too.
Common law - absolutely careful, currently in the U. K the cohabitation rights bill is almost law. You get 2 years to live with her and risk a pregnancy or hear her tell you how she 'lost' her job, after that she's your wife whether you like it or not and gets half of everything you own. That's the law now.
