I dated one. Nothing but trouble. You were right about stuff like "she dates other guys" (she is untrustworthy and cheats) "she is sarcastic and condescending" (she'll insult you and think it's ok to do so) and basically ruin any potentially good time.
Quite simply, they are the absolute worst type of girl. DO NOT put in that much effort into someone who will just treat you like crap. I learned my lesson after the first one.

Great article. This is so true. I am an alpha female. I just know what I want and I will test a guy to see if I trip him up on whether he is putting on a facade to just use me or waste my time. Honestly it's not respect a guy is trying to win with me he is just trying to prove to me he is worth my time and genuine effort from me. Plus while a lot of people think these are games... they aren't I also look at this as my way of weeding out guys I wouldn't be compatible with.
I would assume that if a guy is into the Alpha female, he already knows the game. Those types of girls are either too close to male behavior for me, or (and I'll admit it) they intimidate me. But what if she's so into her "alpha female game" that she passes a guy up that would've been the best thing for her? Idk, I'll just get rich and pay her to clean my house or something..
All these tests and games, as AR Norman already mentioned, are more for the person (guy or girl) to tell themselves, try and feel, and try to convince the person they're dating, that they're NOT easy, and that they have value to offer.
And the reason they go through the effort of trying to overcompensate like this, is because they know how easy they really are, and how little value they have to offer.
People who really are alpha & have value to offer, don't test or play games..
If I give you 1,000 pages of directions, for a 5 mile trip.. the trip is QUICK, and CHEAP, but it's obviously not EASY..
AR Norman either likes a guy, or doesn't. It's true or false. If it's false, she doesn't waste his, but more importantly, HER time, and ends things. If she likes him though, she doesn't waste either of their time, and well, I think her marriage speaks for itself on what happens when alpha female finds alpha male..
And the irony is.. a woman, in every sense of the word, that is actually worth it.. doesn't but up all or any of these "tests", or play all these games..

women are either easy, quick, or cheap.. you'll find that most women are NOT quick or cheap.. they take a lot of time & money.. but nearly all of them are incredibly easy.. because that's all they require.. if I tell you to travel 1,000 miles straight to your destination, that's and EASY journey to make..
AR Norman is THE prime example of what an Alpha female is really like.
Why? Because her looks, personal success and intelligence aside; she is aware of all the value she has to offer, that she can look outside her own self; and actually care about others.
She understands men, and herself; emotionally. She understands what is important to men, and why respecting your partner in your relationship is healthy for your relationship and your own happiness as a couple. That's what guys want.

I am astounded at the lack of perspective taking on the part of those commenting.
All I see is people bashing the notion of dating an alpha female just because they can't deal with anything different than what they like.
Believe it or not, not every guy on the planet wants some beta female like you do. It may be hard to believe that some people like girls with different behaviour patterns than what you like, but we do. Your minds are just too grounded in traditional gender roles and you can't accept that some people like dominant girls.
Well, I tried the confident and cocky approach and got scolded, then slapped, and finally spanked by an alpha.....

Its not about playing emotional games, its about creating attraction. Go talk to a guy who does great and having girls attracted to him and then go talk to a guy that is hopeless with chicks and you will see too different ways of behaving

Nice article. When it comes to relationships, I believe dating is the mail room of the love and commitment enterprise. Whatever game you play, your true self (good or bad) will always shine through. Ultimately, as in fairy tales, the good will prevail, and the bad will only destroy or be destroyed. Be a good person and learn to love yourself first; everyone's respect for you will be guaranteed. All a man needs is self-respect and the rest, including respect from an alpha female, will follow.
Just think though guys if this works for an alpha female than what do you think is the key to the rest of them? These ideas, though trivial, level the playing field for men and women alike.
I always thought they were more trouble than they were worth. No offense, I have some Alpha female friends, and they are great to hang out with, but dating them seems like a huge pain in the butt.

The older I get the more my Alpha changes. I used to date multiple men because I could. Now I date them to weed out. I used to look busy...Now I just am busy but I'm accessible. If my running two businesses and a non profit isn't enough to prove I'm busy then such is life. Next. I do not pay for dates to show that I can, I deserve to be treated therefore...you will treat me. I don't care to be impressed so keep it simple. I think key is being straightforward, unwavering, and honest.
Why try to win the pop singer performer over when the girl serving popcorn in the lobby is just as hot and more easily attainable? Thus, that is why most alpha females die alone.
