Am I old fashioned for hanging on to the notion that a "nice guy" is simply a guy who expects to earn the love of a woman through servile, fawning behavior? Because that guy thinks he's "working" for it and "earning" it.
It's amazing how childish and spoiled young women are from unearned, automatic acceptance by the opposite sex! They dump on men for any reason or no reason! Their sick, entitled attitudes demand that men be so interesting, exciting, funny, confident, charming, mysterious, engaging, witty, generous and god knows whatever else! But what do young women have to bring to the table besides a vagina? YOUNG WOMEN GET TO SIT ON THEIR BUTTS AND JUDGE!

If you don't want to date those nice guys, then don't. If you're pretty enough to attract a real man, then by all means, go for it. Nobodies forcing you to date nice guys.

Isn't it ironic the number of women who say 'nice guys are bitter and angry'! Well if their defining characteristic is being 'NICE', and if the only thing that guarantees their bitterness and anger is NICEness (which stands juxtaposed to bitterness and anger), then maybe you're the bitter and angry one!

yes thats the feeling I got also, those guys who you are speaking of are not "gentlemen" who is a nice guy by default. I was raised to be a gentlemen 100% and I have always heard second hand "oh he is such a nice guy", I am not sure if its ladies not being use to a guy who treats women with respect and not play immature games with their heads, the guys you are outlining are ones who have no backbone and nice in their world is being a womens door matte. personally I have never taken a girl out to dinner and ever "Expected" to get laid as an outcome of the evening, and I think there are a lot of girls who feel obligated to put out in some situations and those are the times the real nice guy or "Gentlemen" won't take advantage of her and say good night.

Yes I noticed you stereotype on looks as well, which is really what this Take is about shaming men who don't look like models. You go on about women not having to like you just because you are nice, well men don't have to be nice to you just because you are a woman. Women expect to be treated like princesses all the time. If you are unkind to someone don't expect them to be nice back. What you are suggesting is that men should be nice to you even if you treat them bad. Well guess what it does not work like that.

Its true you Girls only deal with those self proclaimed Nice Guys, The true Nice Guys are the Guys you usually put in your Friendzone or the Guys that you simply don't want to even talk to let alone date.
