If you want a guy to pay for all the dates then he shod have all the say in where the datecis and what goes on. At one point in time pink was for males and blue was for females. Also there was a time when societies trained kids for war and that was all they knew. Also ghosts or a long time it was tge guy who made the money and women raised the kids, cleaned the home, did all the laundry and cooking. Lets say guys went back to how tgey were in the 1950s so should women. Guess how that would affect society. Companies would have to down size majorly since women would not be working besides as a nurse for the most part. There was a time men being sexist was the norm and women had to obey men.
Gender roles you say. If that is what you want then women should not work and men wpuld have all the say how the money is spent. If a guy is an alcoholic, sexist, racist, does heroin, excessively gambles but he is still a man if he has a truck by your way of thinking.

I remember seeing on here that you practice MMA, right? Being assaulted is definitely a god motivator for that. I was never attacked myself physically beyond some wrestling and a slap or two but I learned self defense all the same.
I studied a mixed martial arts of sorts for 11 years but it was much more traditional than MMA is by a long shot, even though men and women trained together for awhile before they were split more.
Breakfalls, jointlocks, redirecting momentum, proper blocking, pressure points, etc were covered. I most liked how they had me actually train outdoors in the mud, snow, rain, heat, steep hills, etc.
Yes in MMA about 20 years different styles. I was fighting so much I was put in classes because my mother saw I would be fighting regaurdless. It's just if it's in a controlled setting or in a parking lot. If you practice fighting 12 hours a week it's the last thing you want to do in any other free time. MMA is my therapy basically

Chivalry isn't dead, but it's been so demonized that most chivalrous men avoid showing it publicly anymore, or are at least very subtle about it.
I've had "traditional" relationships with women who were happy to have a traditional man and a traditional relationship, and I've had relationships where we were far closer to being equals, and both were fine. My only problem is those women who want the benefits of both and the responsibilities of neither. There are lots of those, but there are plenty of good women out there too.
