The empathy part I thought was just in movies where guys have to handle their emotions on their own.

Believe me it's not just in movies. Even guys your age deal with their emotions on their own.
Good overall. But guys don't typically bash a whole gender. Its usually just sluts. Everyone hates sluts except for the guy they are currently with for about 45 min (or 2 minutes depending on the gentleman).
Sluts are the ones mistreating men. Good girls aren't responsible for 99% of what you're talking about.

I can say that I can relate to this a lot, and this cycle can last for years and every tragedy just make it worse I've not find a way to get out it I've lost friendships, relationships , and had deaths in my family and death to my dog that always there to keep my head up, it's hard but I'm glad you spoke about this at I know I'm not the only one

Something I would like to add. The good catches may date a few guys/girls find the right one and build a relationship. The bad ones date hundreds and leave a trail of destruction in their wake. Stop wanting to be them, stop idolizing them, stand up against them. We have to deal with those in our own gender if we ever want this to stop. Be a force for the good of others.
You can date just a couple of people and ruin then and you can date a lot and leave them happier. Depends a lot on what you do.
