What does it mean if a guy touches his face a lot when talking to a girl?

I've noticed this sometimes. I'll just be talking to a guy (usually one that I don't know well- not like one of my guy friends) and they will start kind of touching their faces when talking to me.

Specifically kind of picking at their stubble on their jawline and chin, but mostly chin. Like they aren't stroking their chins like villains haha.

They don't seem particularly nervous or anything like a shy guy would.

Has anyone else noticed this before? Does it mean anytbing in terms of body language?

Yes my guy friend whom I like has recently been doing this around me alot.

It's a sign of affection when a guy does this he wants to touch something or someone but figures it isn't the right time yet.

It's a sign of a guy being attracted to you and also nervous, also it plants an idea in his head that it would be a good idea to kiss you.

It's a very good sign.

It means his nervous, he probably thinks you're attractive or if you know him he likes you. They do that when they like a girl and when they're nervous thinking about what to say.. I don't know exactly what they're thinking but he likes you or if you just met him he's interested and finds you pretty...
