Well sometimes even if you think you're just "ok" it's not always the case.
There is 2 types of good looking: 1st one in your general good looking where you have good facial features and body.
The 2nd type is the type I personally prefer: It's a girl (or boy) who look pretty normal at 1st glance but there's a certain something that's not usual in everyone and that can drive a lot of guys mad about a girl.
It's hard to explain but when you see someone like that you'll know what I'm saying.
Your luck with boys just wanting to have sex with you is just pure bad luck... there are plenty guys who look for genuine relationships.

Girls will always attract perverts, but the way you carry yourself will be the way they decide how to approach you after that. For instance, a guy comes up to you and uses a pick up line.. me.. im a nice girl.. im old fashioned. . I usually give a look that says this is not acceptable. . If you laugh it off, you will get more cheesy one liners and comments. You attract the kind of guy you let yourself attract. Also sometimes when guys see that something is not ok, he will show you more respect, he will look at you different... "hey. This girl isn't a hook up".. or he will walk away, in which case, you didn't want that guy anyway.

Dont be afraid to not be friendly, be friendly when they are being acceptable. :-) Its actually something they taught us in self defense class too, if you are too nice, you can attract worse than perverts.

You're very attractive.
Unfortunately, the anonymity of the internet lets people turn off their filter. Many guys in real life would have a conversation with you over a cup of coffee and might think to themself something like, "What a delicious body. I'd love to go down on her." Which is fine... Most of us think about sex and don't act on fantasies, let alone say it aloud. But on the Internet, there's a good portion of people who say crap like that, not realizing it is offensive (or not caring), not recognizing every lecherous thought could or should be repeated...
In other words, my thought is that people act more idiotic on here, but I tend to think they were idiots to begin with, and are just revealing it that much quicker.
i get what u mean. in real life at least guys keep their opinions to themselves but on the internet since they can hide their identity they can say whatever they want... they just don't realize that some girls find it offensive

The way I worded it sounds like I'm saying everyone is awful. But that's not what I meant. What I'm trying to say is that "creepy" is just another word for curious/interested, but you only use that word on people you don't like. And "pervert" is just another word for "having desires" which again everyone has but they just differ from person to person. The only difference between a pervert and a non-pervert is that the pervert is being honest about his desires.
And trust me you don't need to be super hot to get a guy interested lol. You just need to be a woman and have minimal hygiene. Someone can be attracted to you because of your personality and/or because of some fetish. Basically attraction is weird, don't try to understand it. :)

Ok, I have a theory then. Is it possible that you allow them to push your boundaries? What I mean by this is that upon initial contact, you somehow come across as an 'easy person'. Is it possible that you don't always say and act the way you really feel, and perhaps say things to seem more acceptable to these men? By this I mean that you become who you think they want you to be, and by doing so you might then come across as more interesting and attractive? Hmm... it might be the 'shy and timid' part. Certain men have a way of trolling 'shy and timid' girls. Perhaps you should be a bit more firm and opinionated at first encounter. This will send a clearer signal. I am of course just theorising, but would hope this might help. For myself as a man, I can understand why men perv on shy and timid girls. Make sense?
