I don't know but Ronaldo came to mind, he stands like that when he is focused on the ball & wanting to score. Maybe they're focused on that girl in the same way? lol

They do that lol I mean I've noticed it but when you think about it nobody stands completely feet side by side and guys have parts that hang down so I don't think they want that to get squeezed lol

Occupy space. It's seen as confidence, the more space you occupy, the more confident you look. Just compare the pose of confident guys with the shy guys; compare how much space each one occupies.
