My friend NEVER pays for anything when when we hang out, what is the matter?

Well first of all I'm kind of a loner without many friends, I do have one friend I meet every weekend. But he doesn't pay for anything when he has a very good job and I dont... I'm studying and in college.

Do you think he looks at our hanging out as sort of therapy and that I have to pay for it or something?

That happened to me an my ex friend she's manager at a hotel and I am a nurse and every time we go out to eat I had to pay for both of us until I told her I didn't had any money and that next time we each had to paid our own but what bothered me is that we used to go out and she wouldn't eat anything just to make me feel bad (what a bitch ) this people are stingy I hate people like that tell him next time each pay their own tell him cause you don't have much money cause just bought something let that mother fuker pay for something

I have been friends with a girl who for 10 years never has money. She is on disability. Her man can't keep a job. And she rarly if ever pays. And has not paid me back nearly as much as she ours me. Yet I keep paying and lending her money. What do I do. When for 10 years there is always a sob story.

then stop hanging out with him... if you feel like he's hanging out with you just to make you feel better. i'd rather be alone than have someone go out with me just out of sympathy.

One by one, you will meet people who are no good. Ask him upfront if he plans to pay and if he says no, maybe, or anything iffy, stand him up.
