Do men like muffin tops? Or flat stomachs?

I was at a party and wore a crop top. I thought it looked pretty. When I walked by a group of men, they all said how unsexy it was for skinny girls to wear them. That a woman with a muffin top and a little bit of belly is more better then a flat stomach. I was eavesdropping, and I know thats wrong and they kept saying how girls need to stop starving to be skinny or that more women need to gain weight. I wanted to yell that I never starve myself that I eat a lot, I eat McDonald's all the time and cannot gain weight! Is it true that "Real men prefer muffin tops and meat on women?"

I of coarse can not speak for all guys out there, but since 70% (in this moment) answered "yes", i think it's safe to assume this counts for the majority of men: YES we like a woman with some more curves on her body. It's sexy to have a thick body and yes i like muffin tops, but this is a preference and not a requirement!! You can look awesome in that crop top whether you're chubby or flat. And some men might find it unattractive for girls to have a muffin top, but secretly, most of us might say we want skinny girls, but we all crave those sexy thighs, hips and, occasionally, a little belly to play with.

You could even see this from an evolutionary standpoint! Women, in the 'wild' aren't required to be fit for running or for hunting, they had to be able to sustain children and stay alive long enough to raise them and also get more than just one child. Women with more weight can lay longer without food and can better supply their children with nutrients (sustain this for longer in case there's no food for a while).

But no, not all guys like muffin tops and yes, these guys were just straight up assholes for talking to you like that! I bet you looked AMAZING in that crop top, even if i myself would prefer a woman more like the third picture ;)

Alright I am genderfluid and can see both sides of the picture. All I can say is that it honestly depends on that persons perspective and what they find attractive. Some men like thinner and toned women, others like softer women with bellies. And then there are those who prefer both, such as myself. To me and many other men, both thinner and thicker is attractive. So don't worry about those jerks, they can shove it. Just because a women isn't wearing what they find visually appealing, doesn't mean they have to say anything and make you self conscious. I'm myself am a muffin top and I am constantly told to lose weight and become Skinner. I've been insulted for wearing croptops and you just have to learn to tune them out. You do you and if you wanna wear a crop top, by golly wear that crop top and rock it proudly!

Noo it's all about personal preference, don't let the sideways remarks of some random men erk you- if you think you looked good in the top, im sure others did too! Plus, there are girls that will be jealous that you can't gain weight (myself included :) so wear what you think works for you, and i wouldn't let those comments bother you.

This is one of those things where it's not either/or. A girl wearing a crop top who is slender and has a flat belly can look awesome. A girl with a little bit of muffin can look sexy too. It all goes back to my philosophy on questions like this, which is that there are a LOT of different ways girls can look hot.

I'm dating someone that looks like the girl on the right, but she has bigger hips and etc. Her muffin top I don't too often, and I don't necessarily mind it. Plus she weights 5'7'' and 185 lbs, yet somehow had most of her weight go to her hips, breasts, butt, and thighs. She looks like this woman below.

I'm a skinny kind of guy. I hate myself for being over weight. I like skinny more than over weight, but I like more than skin and bones. Gotta have some meat on you. Whether its muscle or some fat. Bones showing all over is wrong.

NO guy I know of or have ever heard of "likes" a muffin top. It's a gross display of belly fat popping out of clothes that are too tight for the size of the girl... Like sausage with a hole in the casing. It's puke worthy.
