Guys, do you think woman belong in the kitchen and the bedroom?

The reason why I ask this, is my boyfriend is kind off "old school" and thinks as his girlfriend (probably wife someday) I should do all the cooking & cleaning - he thinks I should take care of him with whatever he needs in those departments. Also, in the bedroom. He thinks it's my duty to also do whatever he needs and desires in the bedroom, whenever he asks for it.

Im not entirely opposed to any of this, he's not a bad guy and he treats me great. He just likes to be in control when it comes to those things, and believes things should be how they used to be regarding woman.

I'm wondering if most guys still secretly (or openly) feel this way?

No not at all. I mean you may joke say something, but I would never date a girl who did not have a real passion and pursue it. I just really like seeing that kind of effort and determination. I understand that homemaker can be a passion and a full time job, but I don't know, I guess I don't value it as much. I want an equal partner, a woman to keep me on my toes and even best me at some things. Especially int he bedroom, if we are going to have sex and I will orgasm, I always get my gfs off one way or another (many struggle to cum from penetration alone).

If you want this and like this, then I won't tell you not to, but that is not at all the life style I want for me and my wife.

For the most part he makes me happy. He has traits I don't always enjoy, or that always make me happy... But I'm sure I do things that don't make him happy too.

I dunno then, I don't suppose there's anything wrong with the traditional hausfrau if that's what you want to do (or are at-least *willing* to do), I just can't imagine why you'd *want* to. But my understanding it or not is immaterial...

But to answer your question: no, I don't think women "belong" in the kitchen per se, though I do believe that if/when children come into the equation, that the parents owe it to them that one of them make that his/her priority, if at all possible...

Sounds backwards. I mean, if I'd run into a very subservient girlfriend would I mind that? Well, maybe a bit because I'd worry about her being unable to stand on her own feet. But if it's just a thing she loves to do then yeah, sure. But I'm not stuck thinking in those traditional roles, times have changed.

It sounds rather close-minded. If you're not okay with it then you should try talking about it with him. At least before you listen to the "dump him" advice.
