What does it mean when a guy responds "meh"?

When we're texting and he responds meh, I take that as a hint to end the conversation. I usually don't text back. What does he mean by meh?

Also he has used K a lot on me and I hate it.
And if I tell him goodnight or something he never says it back

"meh" is that what ever question or view point you asked him he is totally neutral by it or has not interest. "K" is just really short of OKAY. K-is how I will end a general text conversation.

I would've stop texting him, usually peoples does that to either end the conversation or they don't know what else to say.
