Why does it mean if a guy says "oh... IT'S YOU" on MSN?...

Before I liked him, I remember he added me on MSN. I didn't know who he was so I asked "hi, who are you", he didn't answer and just said "who are you?" "Are you Dave from school?" I asked, "this is Ruby." He said "oh... IT'S YOU." I just said "yes... IT"S ME." I asked "where did you add me from?" He said "oh that's right, bebo." Is it even possible that he could forget that he added me? I added him on my other email address. He came up to me at school and asked "why did you add me on MSN?" WTF?
Why does it mean if a guy says "oh... IT'S YOU" on MSN?...
