Should a girl ever tell a guy she likes him, or is that a no no?

So if a guy likes a girl he usually will ask a girl out or tell her he likes her. Unless he's shy. Recently I've been attracted to shy guys, and Im noticing that a girl really needs to let a guy know. I used to tell my friends never to tell a guy that they liked them. Now I'm not so sure. What do you think?

Ok.. I have a crush on a shy guy and he seemed to like me but I gave him mixed messages by accident. He thought I liked his friend. So if I ever see him I'll let him know😘❤️

You were describing my situation. This girl I liked was giving me signals that she liked me. But we were both too shy to let each other know even though we were both screaming in our heads that we wanted each other. And its a shame too because I really wanted her and she me.

I am in the same situation. He and I wer hanging out together, he was a gentleman, tried to hold my hand, walked me to class, would stare from across the room... But I am not as shy as he is and some of the guys I hung with were flirty so he became distant. I saw him a couple days ago and we said hi but I had to go. 😔 he would never approach me if he felt uncomfortable. I miss him so much, I just want him in my arms 😫 do u think I should tell him I like him?

Honestly, you should just muster courage to express your feelings.
I don't believe that women shouldn't tell a guy they like him first.
Plus, if he is shy, then he probably won't say he likes you first.
