Guys, If a guy imitates me, does it mean he likes me?

If he does things I do, like trying my drinks or food, and also imitating my gestures playfully and teases me, does it mean he likes me more than a friend?
I feel he likes me, though he is not really physical - doesn't touch me except for a bye hug for example. But I am not thinking much about it because he should tell me.

I don't want to come off as eager or so. I indirectly showed him I like him - I suggested I spend some time with him in the holidays but he said he had plans, with family. We don't live in the same area and this was a bad sign for me
