Is imitating posture/gestures a sign of attraction?

Hi...so my question is pretty straightforward. If a guy mimics your posture, your gestures, and even your way of speaking, does that mean he likes you? There's a guy I recently became friends with and he seems to hover around me alot, he imitates what I say and do very often (ex: crossing his arms, using certain catchphrases that I use, etc.) and when we talk, he sort of leans forward, or he always puts his hand on my shoulder.

Basically, does that mean he's attracted to me? I don't want to read too much into it...but he's very charming. I've started to get a bit flustered around him.

Yes Obviously he is interested in you,

but perhaps little hesitant about what you think of him,

u better show him your interest in him, make a step forward..but don't rush !

most probably he is trying to make sure that you like him too, b4 telling you what he feels about you (trying to become a good infact closer friend, which can lead to boyfriend :P)

Yes, of course. That's called mirroring and it helps a lot in gaining the other person's impression.

It's a body language style called mirroring. Where one person tries to imitate the other to feel closer to you. Seems like he likes you.

It shows attraction, admiration. I did it 3 times to my boyfriend he hated it then again he was a cold hearted fella

yes I think so but I often find myself doing in automatically. I think it's an advanced communication mechanism.
