What does it mean when girls smell their hair?

I know this girl that smells her hair all the time and she says she only does because it smells good; is there more to it than that? Is there some subtle subtext I am missing?

I smell it simply because it smells good! Unless she wants you to smell it too...then she maybe subtly hinting that "it smells good so come over and smell it too!" otherwise I can't think of any other meaning.
