Guys, why are you so crazy about butts?

I have dated several guys who are just obsessed with butts. I just so happen have a nice booty. I really workout to keep it. One guy... we went to dinner then drove over to the movies. We got out of the car and he just takes it upon himself to grab my ass. He said he just couldnt help himself. Another example... I had to climb a ladder to get some important records out of the attic at work. As I was climbing down the ladder there was a guy that I work with... he said he was walking by and stopped to watch me climb down the ladder. I am just wondering... are all butt guys this enamored with butts? Do you actually get temped to touch a nice booty?

While I have never been a butt man myself (I'm more of a breast man), I have seen and admired an especially nice curvy posterior a time or two. It is my understanding (not sure how accurate this is) that there have been some studies to suggest that our fascination with nice curvy bottoms and breasts is somewhat hardwired into our brains, in the sense that it is what we seek out for fertility and suitability for raising infants. This isn't to suggest that less curvy women are not good candidates, just that typically women are far more curvy than men. Personally it is my belief that a mans fascination with breasts, butts, legs or really any other body part has far more to do with a boys first sexual experiences, when I reference sexual experience it does not necessarily mean having sex, it just means when they begin to realize that they like looking at women and that in doing so they have sexual feelings. These first few experiences can be very formative and will help shape their preferences. Speaking for myself, it seems my first few experiences were through the pages of Playboy and given the time frame mid to late 1970's the women typically in this publication had larger than average breasts, which I thoroughly enjoyed gazing at. At any rate I hope this makes some sort of sense. :-)

It's not at all surprising that a perfect butt is a big turn on to many guys. We're no different from any other animal that seeks out the best quality genetic stock to procreate with.
Some scientific studies have found that men most love the hourglass figure where waist:hips is in a 7:10 ratio. A good example is the commotion Pippa Middleton caused, stealing the spotlight at the royal wedding. There's definitely an evolutionary reason for this. A woman is more likely to be good at bearing children if there's plenty of room for a baby in the womb, and plenty of room for a baby to pass through a nice wide pair of hips, so it can develop further in the womb before needing to be born.
The butt also gives a great overview of fitness as you can get a good impression of muscle tone and body fat percentage.
If a great butt = good choice of mate to procreate with, it's no surprise that it turns us on.
P. S. I would be in heaven if I could touch every single nice butt that I see, but it's still no excuse for unsolicited groping! Manners, please!

I am an Assman and always have been. I love 'em. Not all guys are enamored butts; many are Boob crazy where it effects them as much as butts effect guys like me.

I would never touch, grab, squeeze, slap, etc., a girls butt who I don't have a close relationship with (girlfriend or long time gal pal).

Butt I wish I could grab all of them. I'm not sure that qualifies as temptation, because I just never would do that.

No I don't really have a desire to grab unless I'm in a relationship with that dynamic established. I think that's really aggressive and not something many girls would want. It's pretty rapey in my opinion. The butt can be one of the most sexual places though and really arousing for many of us to look at and touch. Something about the shape can look really sexy in certain angles.

I certainly enjoy looking at a nice derriere on a lady but I am not turned on by BIG butts. I prefer small, tight, toned buns.

I don't know why I am so turned on my behinds. Some guys get aroused by feet, some by boobs, etc. We all have a feature that triggers our arousal, it is something that we didn't select, and it is something that we can't change. However, I have never grabbed the butt of a woman who was not my girlfriend or wife and I doubt that I ever will.

I started dating my current girlfriend and she was very very very slim When we first met (and still is) but she had no butt :( ... And I am very much into butts. All my ex's had tremendous rear ends lol so I slowly fed her fattening foods and she put on about 10 pounds and now has the perfect ass lol so yes butts can be completely irresistible... And from what I understand yours must be perfection also haha :)

Butts are okay for me. As a black man I know that a lot of us go for big butts, but I'm much more of a breast man. Very large breasts are an extreme weakness and distraction for me. Don't get me wrong, a butt can be nice, and I've stared at some before, but the boobs reign supreme.

More cushion for the pushin' as long as she isn't fat enough to make ripples on her skin from dropping a quarter on her even when tightening the muscles underneath. Other than that a curvy butt is just more attractive.
