Do you act serious or immature around you crush?

But then other times he acts really serious when his friends are around, and when he talks to me, he seems very mature and serious why is that? Is it because he isn't interested in me or something?

It confuses me why he's sometimes serious and sometimes immature. Yesterday I was hanging out with my crush and his friends at lunch. We were having a good time, until this flirty/confident guy in my class showed up. He asked if I liked the guy who was sitting on my right (my crush's friend). My crush stayed silent. I said “Yeah, I like him, as a friend.” My crush was like “Ohhh!” and started chuckling. (He said it in a tone like “Ohh! Burn!”)
