If a guy friend gives you a necklace... is that romantic?

my guy friend not only gave me a necklace for my birthday, but made it (said it took him a couple of months). My female friends say this is not a thing a platonic guy friend would do. he's not artistic or creative (he's an economist). The only other thing he's given me are socks years ago. Recently, he also crossed several state lines without me asking to comfort me. What do y'all think, guys? Would you give a necklace (make one) for a girl you didn't have feelings for?

He cares very deeply for you and you should treasure that. I don't know him so I can't say for sure, but the necklace is a pretty big indication he has feelings for you. I dont think I would, unless it was my sister or a really really good friend. Necklaces are romantic and their positioning draws eyes to your neckline, which is sensual.
