Would you guys lie about your body count to somebody you really like?

So I met this new guy a couple of weeks ago and we were hanging out with our friends having fun and drinking together. Then somebody asked what his body count was: He blurted out "7". I was liiike man.. 7?

we got to know each other. lmao then a week later after he confessed he really liked me and loved my vibe and we connected some type of way.
I asked the same question about his body count. Suddenly he said 4. I confronted him. His response was "I just wanted to seem cool".

And let me tell you, he's super fucking hot. Smooth as hell, gentleman, caring and funny. He got tattoos that really compliments him and he goes to the gym very often.

(And no, I haven't had sex with him.. YET.)

So the question is.. When did he actually lie?

we all lie about our body count and so do you. if I told a woman how many wine I been with and it is a lot because I'm in the Army and it is a given then women would think has a cheater and get judgmental. For a woman if she tells a guy she been with a lot of guys then she is a hoe. this is why we lie. for some guy's the lie to boost their ego and to be cool. so for you guy that you say is hot well he has been with way more women then 7 so he is BSing you.

He probably lied both times and it's much higher. Not saying he's a bad guy by any means, but if a guy wants to date a girl there are two things they don't wanna say: if the number is very low or very high (which both are subjective). On the other hand discussing that early on is a bad idea as it often leaves one part feeling uncomfortable and plain bad about the information. in my opinion It's also very irrelevant :)

I wouldn't stress it too much... it's a white lie anyway. whether he wanted to seem cool in front of everyone or he wanted to look more "serious" to you I think it's no big deal?
