I can do every one of those things. I have been working as a graduate student in an engineering lab for about 2 years now designing and programming medical equipment. So a light fixture? Come on now ;)
To be honest, it's not a huge deal if he doesn't know how to do most of those things. I've done most of them, some of them several times over. Living in an old house really forces one to hone their basic handyman skills.
I'd prefer a guy who knows how to do at least 10 things on that list, if I can do at least 10 things on that list it'd be great if he could too. It's more fun to do things as a team.
I wouldn't call myself a handyman at all. I can do about 6-8 of those things, but anyone should be able to do the things I can if they know how to use a screwdriver...
I have never done 18. otherwise i'm good to go. i don't care if he knows how to do those things though, it can not hurt. 2 is better than one in any task.
I think, the things he doesn't know how to do we can work out together (even if we need to hire someone) but 9-11 would be good. If he knows how to do more, great! But that's a good start. This doesn't mean I expect him to be 'macho' and bear responsibility for everything but I think a guy has much more likelihood of knowing how to do these things than your average gal.
I can't answer exactly. I have done a couple of the things on that list, but as I have never done the rest I would not know until I have tried. It would depend on the presence of instructions and the difficulty of the task. Electrical wiring should be fine, but is not a good idea where I live as it can cause issues with your insurance. I would however strive my best to solve a task if it came up, so I would know how to do it the next time.
I've done 14 or 15 on the list, and the rest are well within my skillset. I've built cabins from the ground up and am currently restoring my Mustang so there isn't much I can't figure out. Just keep me away from computers
That list isn't any of a problem. There are much more things men can do if they are to be "handy". At least I can name 100 more things I can do.

My SO knows how to do every single thing in that list. He knows how to install floors, build a room from ground up, he's very handy and I do feel like a lucky lady! Got myself a good one!

Husband does it all. I could do some of that myself also but he can do that and more.
That's okay. Equality in a marriage does not mean that both must do the same chores.

It's not necessary, but it would be really nice. My dad is that way and it makes everything much easier. Luckily I picked up a few things from him.
Excellent. There is no reason why ladies can't do these things, too!
Definitley

Well. some people do not know how to operate a screwdriver.

I am a Woman.
I can't do any of these things besides paint and lift heavy stuff.
You have many years of continuing education ahead of you!

my SO is an engineer by trade and can do all those things, he is amazing! So grateful to have him help out like that

I know I can do about 9 of them and I think I can do about a dozen of them. A quick tutorial and I'm sure I could do much more

I want him to be a handyman so that he could teach me to be handywoman so that we could both do work around the house.
Ill teach you then.
My husband can fix anything around the house or on a car.
I Can do all of that no problem because I’m not useless and actually get off my ass and do thing unlike the rest of this generation
I'm a girl & I have done all of those except for 1. Just replaced the 20 yr old water heater instead of the element..
AS for my ex he could do all of those to.
Why would I need I guy for to do those things? I've done 12, never had to do the other 8.
