Are these signs he's getting attached?

So I've been dating this man for almost 9 months. He travels a lot for work and sometimes he's gone for a week at a time. In the beginning when we met, he would tell me on the phone that he was leaving and I would see him when he returned.
Lately he started to ask me on a date before he travels. We usually just end up at either his place or mine and of course we have sex.
He tells me he will miss me and he says goodbye like he means it.
Does it all mean he's getting emotionally attached? Maybe he's fallen for me?

He could be getting attached. He seems to miss you when he is gone which is good signs.
