Guys do you like it when a girl puts her head on your chest?

I have a habit of putting my head against my guy friend's chest (I like him) when I put my arms around him, cos I like the feeling of laying my head there, but never really thought about how guys feel about it. Any comments on that?

I love it, even if she is just "a freind" and I know nothing is going to happen(well sexually speaking).

It is really nice to know how much another person loves you, even if it isn't romantic love. What an honor to gain someones love and affections. That is one of the main beifets of having female freinds, it is soooo easy to show love for one another, even if isn't romantic.

Even heterosexual men hug each other, of course it is usually followed up by a choke hold or a punch in the arm, but its a great laugh. Of course, they better be great freinds or there is going to be a fight, lol.

But I am sure he loves the feelings of it also, I would. I hope the both of you are clear on your relationship with each other, otherwise it could get confusing because it feels too good.

It depends on the girl. If it's a girlfriend that I am intimate with then it's all fine and welcomed. It makes me feel like a man holding something super precious. Holding someone I love and want to care for.

But it just drove me nuts when a female friend or someone I have just started dating do that for no reason specially in private. I have no clue if she wants sex or intimacy or just really wants to be hugged or she just wants to sleep or whatever. It makes me nervous because then I have to figure out what she wants. Do I make a move, or do I not. what is she expecting me to do. yada yada. See I have no clue what she is expecting from me.

If he;s just your friend make it clear immediately, you just need to be hugged and in passing inform him that it's just a hug you want.

He's a good friend of mine but I like him as more than a friend and there's been a bit of chemistry going on. Reckon it's pushing it to be laying my head on his chest when we hug then?

The other guys here thinks it's all ok. But really all I am saying is you need to figure it out with him because not all guys are the same.

I should add I do agree that as a rule, every guy specially the less sexually experienced would enjoy a girl hugging them if that's as close as they get. It is possible that you're making him sexually frustrated and he just can't get himself to make a move on you.

But then again, it also really just depends on your friendship. Ask him!!!

Most guys like it. I did date one guy who had a weird sternum injury (landed on his skateboard) and he couldn't handle any pressure there. That to me a while to get used to. It felt so normal to me to just lay on a guy's chest that I had to really remind myself that I couldn't do that with him.

I’m short, so if a guy doesn’t want my head on his chest when he hugs me, he better bend down a little. So, I don’t think too much about it.
