Do guys like high waisted jeans?

I've seen a lot of guys on this site say they don't like high waisted jeans. I'm curious if this only applies to "mom" jeans or high waisted skinny jeans as well? If you do dislike either or both styles please explain why because a lot of guys say they don't like them but don't say why they think they're ugly/unflattering

Both styles are ugly. I don't like when girls wear high waisted pants.

Im not basing what I wear on guys opinions I'm still going to wear high waisted pants since I bought them and think they look cute. I was just wondering why they don't like them

The only high-waisted pants I like are ponte knit leggings or stretchy PU leggings covered by a longer top or with an extra layer on top such as a jacket, cardigan or a blazer.

High-waisted pants can flatter the small of your back and your navel, but you need to do something with them so your midsection doesn't end up looking comically elongated.

The second style looks a lot better, but I still prefer normal waisted jeans or lower ones, just ones that look more common, nothing too high or low.

High waisted skinny Jean look good but I’ve always preferred low rise. It’s a nice tease to have it barely on and I always loved it when the the panty shows in a back.

They look nice as long as they don't have rips, holes or frayed hems. Like them tucked into whatever sweater, sweatshirt, t-shirt, etc. you are wearing with a belt And ankle length lets you show off your socks.

wrong thing to wear is that which is selected only b/c it's in style and one can put it on.
clothing should complement the body, not indicate its faults. that is to say - if one is sporting a camel toe or the waist is so tight that it accentuates "chubbies," then it's not something one should wear, no matter how badly the wearer wants to appear stylish.
although most women dress to impress other women, men DO notice when something doesn't fit. we see it as a sign of vanity and desperation while noting the lack of common sense and humorous appearance. in short - one should not wear that which does not fit.
