Why is he all of a sudden leaving me on open?

I met a guy on hinge and we have been snapping each other all day every day for about a month and a half. We are each others #1 friend on snap and we've FaceTimed a few times. He always responds super quick and always asks when we are gonna hangout. Always tells me how pretty I am and never makes sexual comments about me or is inappropriate. He said he's willing to drive the 4 hours to see me and stayed up all night to talk to me a few times. I asked him to hang one day and he said he would try to get coverage for work so I could come see him but he couldn't get coverage. For the next 2 or 3 days after that he's been leaving me on open on snap. I don't snap him again, or if I do I wait quite a few hours. I know he has work but I can see he's still snapping other people or posting to his story. He always seemed so interested up until now but nothing with my behavior has changed so I don't know What happened. I want to ask him if he's still interested in meeting up with me but I don't want to sound crazy or clingy since its only been about a month. How do I ask him or figure out where he stands when it comes to me?

Its very possible he just got bored. Are your conversations kind of mundane or small talkish? Sometimes that can be fun for a while, but eventually starts to feel like a chore, and the distance on top of that doesn't help. He is probably not sure anymore, but hasn't just stopped talking to you yet because he might still like you.

Sometimes they can be but they're almost always flirty. And anytime the conversation seems to die down and I try to say goodnight or something he says he still wants to talk. But I just don't understand the radio silence all of a sudden.

Lol if I purposely went out of my way to creep on a profile? Maybe. But snap doesn't work that way... all it is is a story that's public and any friends can see as soon as you open the app. But go off I guess.
