What does "I think you're great" mean?

This guy told me "I think you're great" when I asked him how he felt about me. What does that mean?

Sounds like he thinks you're great. Don't read too much into it. If you guys are new to a relationship he probably doesn't know how to express to you what he actually thinks about you. Maybe the question what do you like about me would have been a better question to ask him. If you've been together for a little while it should just roll off of his lips without him thinking about it.

i think there's two meanings to it. 1) you're great for what's he's looking for. you fit each category of his. Or 2) he thinks your great in general, like as a person
