Is it rude if he says “good luck” when I told him I’m in a relationship?

I’ve never had a boyfriend but me and this guy We had 7 months of drama, a rollercoaster seriously. I was pretty sure I was being used by him not 100% but a high chance, we had a bunch of ups and downs but we got superrrr close and I did act crazyyyyyy on more than one occasion. We where just sexting last week and staying up all night together but I’m done.
After him bringing me drama I decided to tell him I met someone I’m trying to be serious and this person thinks me being in contact with this certain fling is disrespectful I told him I didn’t think us talking mattered but it was an issue for a while so I should probably stop i then added if u want I have a couple of hot friends I can set you up with he said...”i’m gucci.. good luck.”
Is it rude if he says “good luck” when I told him I’m in a relationship?
