Is this normal for friends with benefits or does it mean he has feelings?

Me and my friends with benefits have been seeing each other for about 7 months and we are coworkers. (Yes, I know). He has talked to me literally every single day, calls me several times a day and makes plans to see me everyday. In the beginning we were just going out to have sex but at work he always asked me to have lunch with him. Now for the past few months we go out almost everyday and don’t even talk about sex or do anything sexual, and if we do, it’s way later on that day or not even at all.

Does this mean that there are feelings involved for him since it has passed the phase of just having sex all the time and the fact that since the beginning he has spoken to me every single day and calls me literally all the time?

How am I a fool for needing sex like any other human on this earth? I never said I wanted a relationship or else I would have looked for a relationship. He shows me all of his attention which is why I asked this question because I find it strange, because we are not in a relationship. And the boss knows lol. We do not do anything at the workplace.

Probably, you both wanted a relationship from the start and were afraid to admit it, so you played the "lets just be friends with benefits" game, but now the truth is becoming obvious. Why not just be honest with each other?

Well it started out with just talking everyday and just having sex. We both agreed that this was just two friends having fun. But he recently admitted to me that the closer we got, he did want to see if this could lead to a relationship because he had developed feelings for me and I could tell by his actions that he did. However we have some big differences that would make a relationship not be able to last long term and we both acknowledge that. So we are now stuck in that awkward place where we just see each other everyday and hang out but it’s not moving forward.
