As an introvert and a shy guy around women, the best way to determine his feelings is to get him alone. Ask him to hang out, as just friends so you can get to know each other better. Shy guys and introverts are generally very bad in public, and require time alone or in very small groups to open up and be more honest with themselves and the people around them.
If he is just politely uninterested, he'll probably deny the hanging out, or if you try to make moves on him, he'll deny those.
Also, my own personal caveat is I'm introverted and I'm shy, but mostly just around women. If I'm doing a project, or I'm at work, or playing a game or something that I know I'm good at I can be very confident! But when it comes to talking to people and trying to establish a connection it just kind of shuts down and I have to rely on them to be the more active and brave one
Sorry your question is difficult to understand. But I’ll say that I’m a shy guy although not as shy as others but still shy overall I think. I want to be able to ask out girls I find attractive but just not brave enough to do it and not happy with myself enough to do if.
