Guys what are some reasons you stop watching a girl's story?

- is involved in a relationship
- is busy
- doesn't find your stories interesting
- might be following a lot of people and doesn't have time to watch everything they post
- might be embarrassed if you posted something hinting about him
- lost interest in you
- he isn't interested in stories, but watched yours a couple of times because he likes you

When I upload selfie he checks the stories after but doesn't communicate with me. I forgot his birthday but wished him in person days before, I just forgot it when it was the day.

It's the same thing, manipulative or not, I mean I could actually be very curious as to what she posts and still feel like not viewing her stories just so I don't mislead her. This is from personal experience, cuz I know if I view her stories she would wanna message me and I don't want that cuz it's not going any where from my side.

I wrote to this guy after not hearing from him and when he stopped checking them just to check if he's alright, tried to be flirty but didn't do it just because he stopped viewing them cause he told me in person that I'm posting too much.

Yeah that's another reason, when you don't wanna encourage someone to keep posting stories, that's actually a valid reason. I did that too.

Encourage someone to stop sharing by not viewing? Normally, you can mute their stories and find a peace of mind (in case you find their content annoying)

Yeah that's what i would do, mute their stories so that i don't see them so that I don't encourage them to keep posting. Whether that would work or not it's just me doing what I think is right.

I actually went as far as tell a friend of mine while there was mutual liking between us, that her excessive story posting is pathetic which of course was a huge insult to her but I kept explaining to her logically why it's so and I apologized for insulting her like that but I thought at the time that it's for her own good, cuz no stable content man would want a girl this consumed by social media attention. This way she's likely gonna attract guys who are insecure and incompetent, she basically told me go fuck yourself, but after a couple of months she contacted me again apologized and I gladly accepted.

Generally I don't respect people who post too much, as they're just mostly seeking attention which is a level of insecurity on its own.
