Do guys notice when a girl randomly stops watching your story?

say you usually watch this person's story pretty fast and consecutively for about a year and then one day just stop, as a boy do u notice that? because as a girl I definitely notice if a boy stops. and if you do notice what do you think? do you think it's on purpose or just don't put any thought into it?

(say this person is also like a romantic interest and there's been clear mutual attraction with one another before and mutual flirtatousness)

i think im starting to like him a little more than what it is and I don't want to be as available to him anymore. i don't want him thinking I do like him more so just kinda wanna separate myself from the situation a bit lol
