The use of derogatory language like "bitch" to refer to women is a complex issue that can be rooted in a variety of factors, such as societal norms, upbringing, peer influence, or individual beliefs and attitudes. Here are some perspectives to consider:
Sexism: Sometimes the term is used as a form of misogyny or sexism. In these cases, the language is used to demean women and reinforce traditional gender roles.
Anger or Frustration: Some people resort to derogatory language when they are angry or frustrated. However, this is not an excuse for using such language, especially if it targets someone based on their gender.
Social Norms: In some social circles, using derogatory language might be normalized. Individuals may use this language without fully understanding the implications or the harm they are causing.
Media Influence: Movies, music, and other forms of media often use this kind of language, which can then be picked up by people who consume these media. Again, this doesn't excuse the use of derogatory language but may partly explain why it happens.
To Elicit a Reaction: Some people use offensive language to get a rise out of others, whether to assert some form of twisted dominance or because they find it amusing to upset others.
Internalized Beliefs: Sometimes men use such language because they have internalized beliefs that make them feel it is acceptable to demean women. These beliefs can come from upbringing, social environments, or even personal experiences that have shaped their views.
Desensitization: Repeated exposure to derogatory language can lead to desensitization, making people less likely to consider the impact of their words.
It's important to note that while there may be multiple factors to consider, using derogatory language to demean someone based on their gender is never acceptable. It perpetuates harmful stereotypes and can have significant psychological and social consequences.
If you encounter someone using this kind of language, your response will depend on the situation and your level of comfort in addressing it. Some may choose to confront the person directly about it, while others may opt for more indirect methods of addressing the issue. Whatever the case, awareness and education are crucial steps in changing this kind of behavior.

Most guys do not call girls bitches.
the only guys who do are the ones who are bad quality themselves so they can't attract any good women.
Believe me, guys who call women "bitches" have no chance of attracting a decent, sane, level headed woman. Top quality women tend to attract better men.
Misogyny. They have oppressed women for ages and exert their oppression once more in hopes of controlling us or hurting us. Historically speaking.
It's interesting how the meaning of that word evolved. Like the many, many derogatory words used to refer to women, it originally meant "slut" or someone who was in heat and would fuck anyone.
Of all the pejoratives for sexually active women, bitch eventually took on a more unique implication that encompasses any kind of mean, annoying, abusive, complaining, bossy behavior by a woman.
What's interesting is, there are no words to describe assertive, bossy or annoying guys. And there are no words for guys who sleep around. Men who do so are sometimes called sluts. By the way, they will accept that with pride. But how odd that that word had to be borrowed from the raft of words used to denegrate women.
It can be used in other ways, though. Telling a guy to stop being such a little bitch is the same as saying he is weak, a whiner or coward. Calling a guy gay used to mean the same thing.
Sometimes women, particularly young women will call each other bitches, as in "Yo. Come on bitches, let's party!", similar to the way some black people will affectionately call each other n*gger.
And then you have the occasional lusty woman who gets turned on by saying "Call me your bitch!" or "Fuck me like a bitch!" when she is getting fucked good and rough.
The reference to the female dog is long gone. It still refers to women and sometimes to sexuality. But whether it is hurtful or not depends on how it is used and by whom.
Guys among eachother always fight for respect. Who's the better driver, who's the better fighter, who is more popular with girls, etc.. And we put eachother down. That shit is toxic as hell. And we know it and that's why friends don't do it. And the ultimate level of friendship when we again disrespect eachother, because we know it that even if we say disrespectful or hurtful things our friendship is stronger than words. I don't start calling girls bitch as my opening line. But once I invested enough into her, I mean emotionally I expect her to know it and not to take it granted (like it was nothing) and to know that she's more important to me than my choice of words. I don't need to actively hurt girls I think I'm a valuable enough person to hurt them just by walking out from their life.
P. s.: you cunt

Actually, it's "cunt" that's the ultimate insult, but bitch is No. 2.
It's simply a putdown that renders a woman nothing but a filthy, and mean, sex object.
There's no equivalent putdown for males. Calling someone a bastard has nothing to do with their behavior or status. It has to do with them being born out of wedlock and that's so common today as to render the term pointless. It has developed into meaning someone who's good for nothing and mean. But it gives no sexual overtones to the man it's referring to. Man-whore is something like bitch or cunt, but it's an uncommon moniker.
People do call men sluts, but slut almost sounds comical because calling a man a "slut" is practically a compliment. If a man gets lots of women, he's sexually proficient, he's desired. The same title for a woman means she's a prostitute: the lowest and most shameful job a woman, or man, can engage in as a profession.
A prostitute is performing sexual services for people who, most likely, can't get partners and need to pay for sex, so they are "losers." They aren't desirable, and others don't throw themselves at them. This shames both the men AND the women who service them. They have to "pay" for sex.
I can't count the times I've heard a man say, "I don't (or wouldn't) pay for it!" disdainfully. Why would any man need to tell me this in the middle of a discussion? It's usually in the context of whether they utilize a prostitute, or why anyone would. It's disturbing how sexist this is. But, it is.
It's far from the worst insult for girls lol. Slut, whore, crazy are worse. Bitch is about the attitude. The other 3 are more demeaning and addressing who you are/your character.
But reasons guys do it is a mixed bag of upbringing, female relationships growing up (gfs, friends, sisters, mom, etc), his temperament, and whether or not the girl has an attitude/is actually being a bitch.
Personally I won't call a girl a bitch even when I'd be justified because she's acting like a bitch. Just not something I do. That said, in all fairness. a lot of the time it's justified.
I've seen more than one occasion where a girls behavior was bitchy and a guy rightfully could say "stop being bitchy" and she gets a pass on her behavior because she has a vagina.
Even girls at times will say themselves they outright feel bitchy today. Act like it and still get offended when they're called out. Lol it's sillyI never call any girl this type of word's because respect is 1st thing for enter in a girl heart ♥ and according to me this word is a huge disrespect..
So it's very disrespectful when guys call us girls that, but I do something that throws them off. Guys are usually looking for a reaction, but I dont give them one. Normally I say something along the lines of "thank you for the compliment" lmao. It's the last thing they're expecting. If they ask why I said "thanks for the compliment" I just say "because if you're a bitch you get respect. If you had really wanted to piss me off you should've come up with something a bit more original." This reply pisses them off so much, and I've never heard any of the guys that have called me a bitch (it was like 7 im a bit off a smart ass lmao) ever call another girl that to this day. It's especially infuriating if you flip them off and then walk away. Just a tip hope it helps!!!
Just words really. The only one that let it hurt you was you... just laugh it off and realize what you just said. He was just trying to hurt you
When I get called a bitch I smile and say "Yes I am... wow that took you a long time to clue in"!I dont like to be called the word by man nor woman and i make it clear that if they refer to me as that, then we have no reason to converse in the future. Theyre practically dead to me
I thought "cunt" was worse than "bitch." Either way, men or women, need to stop being such thin-skinned babies and snowflakes. Words won't hurt you, most of the time. And if they do, you've got some demons to work on. (Only two words offend me on a personal level and even I don't blame the other person for saying them. They just trigger me.)
A girl that I didn't love as much as she did me wanted me to feel bad by telling me she would sleep with every boy out there out of pure entertainment. Of course, I called her a whore. Other than that, I tend to not insult people unrighteously, but most young girls do behave like that, so that's why.
Then call him:
pig 🐖, dog 🐕, ANIMAL.
Call him:
weak, pathetic, loser, INCEL, undesirable, feminine, coward, pussy, wuss, moron, fool, idiot, imbecile,
I mean there’s insults for men too, 💅 you just need to know them. If he keeps calling you a b-word. It’s time to behave like a b-word. 😜 it’s time to give him a reason to call you that 💅💅💅💅💅
Depends on the context of how the word is used..
" You fcken bitch " , said in a laughing manner , is very different from saying to a 3rd party " That dirt fcken bitch " " nasty bitch " etc etc.
Context is everything.
I don't know, bitch is a term of affection in my friend group and I genuinely don't mind if a man calls me a bitch. Usually it means they don't like my "feminist" (in my opinion normal and bare minimum human decency) takes and their little egos are butthurt.
Like why? Why do ya let that of all things hurt you.
If anything you should feel sorry for him. Like bruh, so uncreative that the only insult you could come up with is the exact generic insult that dudes been saying for like a hundred year. Like that's embarrassingly uncreative
Don´t know what you´re talking about but to be fair I´m not normally speaking English in every day life. I think it mostly comes from the music we listen to. In Rap music women are often times called bitches and it´s scientifically proven that the music you listen to can change your vocabulary of words.
I personally think that guys often times say the first thing that comes to mind without a hidden agenda so I wouldn´t think of them using that word on purpose.Context matters.
Undeniably, some men are denigrating women. Why? Well, why misogyny? A=A there.
In hip-hop, the use is controversial. To some, it's just an inoffensive synonym for woman. For some, it's an example of toxic masculinity or casual misogyny. Or both. Or case-by-case. I'd say use your discretion.
According to a woman I used to date, it's been reclaimed and the preferable pronoun.
I personally will use it with exceptionally cruel women, generally weak people (regardless of gender), a general term of endearment for sexually attractive or inspiring women, or as a term of empowerment with empowered women. I've grown enough experience and empathy with different viewpoints - I feel - to only use it in the correct contexts, so that its use isn't taken offensively, but I will be quick to learn from it if I ever don't.Regardless I feel like it's fine as long as it doesn't have a sexist connotation. Especially since girls and their friends use it all the time so they've adopted it in their own way. It's similar to how we/black people have adopted the word "nigga" and use it in our own way even though it essentially derives from slavery and racism. We made it our own.
She deserves it if she acts like one and has every reason to get called one. In this world though its perfectly okay for women and even men as well to insult other men, but god forbid we call women bitches. As far as I know, men get called assholes as well. So if we get assholes, women get bitches. Both are fine to call each other as such if they act that way, no regrets
Technically a female dog is loyal, takes care of pups, and looks nice. I think women should be more insecure with guys using the term hoe or whore because they arnt loyal to anyone. Not everyone has the same context when theyre using it so its best to be confident in the decisions we make so we know who we are to the effect of those words having no affect on our mental health, or self esteem
Ima call you what you are. Act like a bitch I’ll call you one. I’ve thrown worse words around then bitch. Idc about your feelings only your actions. If that bothers you you could, you know, not act like a bitch.
And if your more offended being called a bitch then a whore might I suggest reconsidering your life choices?Yes. It's intentionally trying to harm them emotionally
I use the word bitch as an everyday common word if something strange happens. My three favorite things to call a bitch is my computer, car, and other inanimate objects. I very seldom mean anything by it what is strange I very seldom will say it to a woman unless she really really piss me off then I might say it but add the f….. g word to it
