It might've been a bit rude, and of course it's not good to be rude, but you're human. I can see you took his actions (and at times lack thereof,) personally. It's excusable of you to be rude, and probably in your best interest to move on. Someone who treats you like that and the only recompense you give is to continue to put up with it? You'd be inviting more of the same.
