I ghosted a guy did I do the right thing?

So basically i met a guy online we used to chat a lot. Earlier He asked to meet him in August or September. But one day i felt like he said something undermining my profession over his. It felt insulting so I ghosted him. Then he apologized a lot. He said to forgive him for that day and let's start fresh. So I said will talk about this later. After that also he kept texting as like have a good day and stuff I kept him on seen and the last text was " I am back being myself ". So guys pls put on ur opinions about wht do u think about this guy..

I'm not a fan of ghosting, people don't get better without information. Sometimes people do this to avoid conflict, and some scenarios you invite more conflict not being clear, honest, and practically avoiding what the problem is. If words offended you, have to speak up.
