Let's say you work at a store. Then a good looking girl or pretty girl walks in. Do you stare at her? Or avoid eye contact? Or you just treat her nornally as a normal human person?

I have many best friends that are women. Incredibly gorgeous women at that far beyond myself. I do this absurdly crazy thing that you're never going to have heard of before... you ready for it?
I pretend I'm talking to a Human. I know, crazy right?
Great thing about talking to friends, of any gender, is, usually if they're actually decent people and good friends, they're no judgement, no expectations or detriments to socializing and absolutely no reason to feel like they think less of you or think you're worthless. If you do, you're hanging out with the wrong friends.
I'm kinda hard to peg down in general though since I stim, occasionally squint due to stress and don't always have the greatest eye contact with anyone regardless of gender unless I'm feeling particularly confident, which... is not often. I've learned in the last couple years to act like I am but inside I am most certainly not.
Major thing I've noticed since ceasing all dating activity completely is: When on dates with a woman who is a prospective romantic partner I tended to treat them differently to friends to a degree. I tried to be the proper gentleman, treated them like a lady, conversed differently and just in general was more insecure about their past compared to mine and what it says in how valuable she is versus how worthless I am my socialization reflected that because it wasn't a real conversation or social interaction. It was a social transaction where I was hoping to get a girlfriend out of it. Since just learning to enjoy friendships and and companionship, I have learned to just honestly see every woman as... a woman. Not Potential Mrs. Right. But, just hang out. I don't care about my friend's pasts so long as they haven't raped and murdered and pillaged and their fuck-ups are on-par with mine and there's some level of relatability and common ground to be found as friends. It matters little if I treat her as a lady so long as we're equal and I recognize she's still a woman but also an animal like myself and I can just keep seeing her as, as great a person as she/they hopefully see me. In this way, you can stop trying to force meaning into that one social interaction and instead just forge many meaningful relationships through social engagement. And being alone forever matters a little less as long as there's a face to smile with across a table in whatever form.
