Guys, how would you feel if a girl you were talking to went through your phone?

I was talking to this guy. Things ended respectfully due to distance and we have remained friends. I still have feelings for him, but I respect his decision and I’m not begging him to be with me.

However, I think he’s talking to a new girl. Because today I got a random text from a girl saying “Back the fuck off my man, _________.” I was so confused how this girl got my number. We don’t even live in the same part of our state, no mutual friends, etc. The only thing I can think of is she got my number by going through his phone.

Him and I have been chatting recently, and when things ended between us (which was a few weeks ago) he said he’s in a bad season of life and can’t date anyone right now, which I understood. But now there’s this new insecure girl going out of her way to text me lol.

I sent him screenshots, saying “Care to explain who this is?” Mostly to show him that she likely was going through his phone and found my number.

Guys, how would you react in a situation like this?

I'd be impressed, because my phone has a 25 digit passcode. Her memorizing all 25 digits would be really impressive. Also, I'm happily married, so I wouldn't really care if my wife went through my phone, as I have nothing to hide from her.

That being said, if she used my phone as a means to harass and abuse others, we would be having a discussion. My wife has earned the right to see and know everything about me. That doesn't mean she has the right to attempt to destroy friendships. If she has a problem with someone I'm talking to, she can bring it up to me.

Well, I'm a naturally very private individual when it comes to the public at large, going so far as to use specialty software to keep everything I do anonymous and/or End to End Encrypted. So, again, if some rando learned my 25 digit passcode, when my phone wipes itself after 10 wrong guesses, I'd be really impressed. Obviously I wouldn't consider such a person to be a friend, but I'd be more impressed than angry.

That said, I could understand why others would feel differently. But let his mistake be a lesson to you: the only privacy you really have is what you give yourself, which requires real effort.

Girls have mastered this art of breaching privacy in the relationship. First they give access to their mobile to their boyfriend and then get access to his phone in lieu of that and this goes on with social media accounts, chats, emails and other stuffs. Then they ask for the clarifications about past pics, videos, events etc. Then they get deeper into sex things... How it used to be? Was it any better? And then the guy has to speak lies to please her and gratifying her ego.

So, basically girls fuck up the whole relationship with the holes in their minds... And in their body.
