Guys, What does it mean when a guy put his nose on my hair?

I’ve only seen this guy three times. We met on a dating app. On the third date while we were watching a movie, he put his arms over me and put his nose and lips on my hair, he was sniffing my hairs. He did this for multiple times, said my hair smells nice. We haven’t made love but I know he wants it.

My question is does a man sniff and kiss a girl’s hair because men just usually like it and want to go after sex or is it something a guy usually do when he likes a girl? I don’t have much experiences and don’t know men.

I would not make it as a bad sign. I have done this to women I have dated... but its not my go to move. I start with hugs and kisses on the cheek or neck... if no directly on the lips. So its kind of weird I guys, or he is getting some vibe from you and trying to take it super slow and that might make him do some awkward things because you have him out of his comfort zone.

But yes I would think it because he is interest and trying to move the relationship into the bed room or get a better idea of where you on having sex.
