Been friends with a guy for a year and some months. we enjoy each others company a lot. have nvr been sexual. there's even been times in the beginning of our friendship he wld say i didn't flirt with him. yesterday we spent the whole day together (we usuallyy spend quite a lot of time together). today he sent me a text like "you my dawg. lol sorry that was random". he's mentioned how we spend more time together than women he "talks" to.

Im just confused.
Im also afraid of rejection which doesn't help because it stops me from asking.
